After 3years....we've got our kaput aircond(s) fixed y'day and slept the nite thru with the priviliged of cold air that surround our rooms. I still dun mind the fan actually..cos,im not an aircond person.
Ive somewat chosen the colors to paint the rooms & living areas...and the price quoted was a steal !
We still waiting for the capentry guy to get back to us..(for our masterbedrm.)
We've not been doing any changes to our home, since we moved in some good 9years ago...and i think it''s abt time..the wear n tear of things around the house are somewat obvious...like my bed ! :P
Im looking forward to the refreshing new look , of a place i call Home.
Part II
Im looking forward to this coming Ramadan....just like the previous, each Ramadan has different feel for me.
When i was younger, i dont see the benefits of sawm (except for a slimmer me) , i find it was a chore to wake up for sahur and being hungry n thirstly the whole day. Maybe ive cheated on my sawm before, i couldnt recall much thou..
As time and years passes by, Allah loves me... gave me the benefits of seeking knowledge.., slowly , steadilyy and surely...i got the lightbulb.!! I began to realise and see the beauty of His command. It's not just abt hunger and thirst anymore....it's the testing of our spiritual willpower . Many knows that syaitan will be chained in hell during this holy month, but the worst devil to fight is actually our own nafs.
The doors of repentance are open... the myterious last 10 nites of Qadr...and many other kelebihan during tis month ...hence we are told to grab these opportunities, cos, Ramadan come once and will be gone soon...we wont knw if we would be able to meet another Ramadan again.
Im looking forward to have iftar with the orphanage .I want my kids to see how fortunate they are and count their blessings.

It's broken.
It's in bad shape.
Nothing can mend it.
Hubby said time for a change.
I agreed.
It's not my fault.
It's not his fault.
My son, sat on it one day, and our bed broke. ! * plonky plonk *
The wood has given its way.
Aku "redha"....cos, it's time for a revamp of my bedroom. Yay !!

After the prayer, we started with the reading of yaseen followed by dzikir. At some point of the dzikir, i was emotional, tears flowed fm my eyes....i couldnt help it. I cried and cried silently, i knew my daughter was wondering why . She's too young to understand. I felt so "tiny" in the eyes of Allah. I felt so guilty of the things that ive done...i felt ive not done enuf for HIM. The dzikir n salawat pierced thru my heart. For those who went for such sessions, i believe u know what i mean. Despite the emotional part, i did feel refreshed and tranquil after the whole event.
We reached home abt 2300hrs...cos, we stayed for a while to catch up with some friends, who came for the sessions. At 4am time this morning, i couldnt sleep anymore..i tossed and turned, but my eyes were wide open. I wanted to continue sleeping for an hour more, cos, i set my alarm at 5am actually, but i just couldnt.
It's like "someone" woke me up.........i felt so fresh at 4am ??! So, i got up fm my bed, went to the washroom , cleansed myself up and took my ablution. I did my tahajjud...and silent zikir...i know im not 'alone' . I had silent conversation with my Creator. Then, i slept for awhile .. woke up only for subh, and i never went to bed again after that.
Thank you, Allah, for giving me the chance to reflect and ponder .Thank you Allah, for all your blessings and bounties. Ameen.

As most of us know, 15 syaaban or commonly known as Nisfu Syaaban is just around the corner.
It is said that on this meritorous month ,during the night between 14th and 15th Syaaban known as Laylatul-Bara'ah (the night of freedom from fire), Allah opens up the sky and elevates every single deed of His slaves. Therefore all our prayers will insyaAllah be granted upon the Almighty's will. Amin.
Sayyidatina Aishah r.a reported that Prophet Muhammad s.a.w to have said,
"This is the night of Syaaban. Allah frees a large number of people from Fire, more than the number of the hair growing on the sheep of the tribe, Kalb. But He does not even look at a person who associates partners with Allah, or at a person who nourishes malice in his heart (against someone), or at a person who cuts off the ties of kinship, or at a man who leaves his clothes extending beyond his ankles (as a sign of pride), or at a person who disobeys his parents, or at a person who has a habit of drinking wine."
Soon, we'll be greated by the holy month of Ramadhan, insya allah. How are we going to welcome this holy month..are we ready ? I hope i am given more strength to perform my ibadah, to confide and to be closer to my Creator.
Ramadhan is not al abt air khatirah, geylang bazaar and burgernye si Ramly... it's abt spiritual goals...the reading of Quran, the tarawih , the lailatul qadr........
Let's make the most of this coming Ramadhan , before time slips thru our hands , just like the sand that slip thru the gap of our fingers.

Ok, im trying to be patriotic here (it's National Day mood ,mah)....
Let see, im a very pure sincapolean lor...when my hubby got an offer to work in the neighbouring country, he wanted to bring us all there, but being a very pure sincapolean that i am....i dun have to think millions of times before i declined the offer. I'd rather stay put here, in my very heart and soul country , with a little (well actually A LOT ) of sacrifies to go along. To cut the long story short, i survived the ordeals ! *Phew*
That aside, i need some chill pills ley.........so today hor, still in National Day mood, we are soo going here . Heaven ! we'll be having mini celebrations of my kids bdays (cos, both are Aug babies) as well as, Satria, my nephew's one year old bday....with the whole nations, we gonna see the parade + fireworks in celebration to our country's 43rd birthday, only difference, we'll be watching the whole event from our hotel room .... how vonderful !!
Vokay..., gotta start packing my stuff soon....cannot forget my training shoes , as i'll be surely hitting the hotel gym (and the sauna). . I'd better make full use of this priviliged time given, cos, it will be a mad mad rush again after this short holiday break !
Happy National Day !

You came into my world , so tiny and small
I placed your little hand in mine,
I know , you are mine till end of time.
You're growing so fast, it sends me awhirl.
I watched you cry, laughed and grow
I cannot imagine , one day I will have to let you go
You bring joy in my life
Your smile removes all my strife.
You are a blessing from Him
That, I cannot deny
My little baby is 9yo today
Happy Birthday !
Love,
Mummy.
