As much as the preparations for Eid is concern , i have always done it moderately.
No fancy curtains or new sofa set to boast.
It's just simple. Neat . Clean .
Im a little dissappointed, for not be able to complete my Quran reading for Ramadhan.
Im still far behind...... this morning, i managed to read only half of Surah Hajj .....reading still in process ........Insya allah.
Last nite, i went teraweeh with hubby , minus the kids, as they have school work to complete.
The teraweeh ended earlier than usual, cos ,the Imam read shorter surahs , as compared to those earlier teraweeh. The ladies were decreasing in numbers , only 3 safs. Amongst those who were there , i saw a lady , she was kinda "struggling" to pray ...... i wondered why, then i realised, she has only one complete leg...... the other was amputated. Masya allah.
Today , till the morning of Eid , we plan to go the mosque, tis time, the kids will tag along.
Plan to have iftar at the mosque on the eve .... pray and join the takbir. Insya allah.
Takbir = Emotional . :(
Let's pause a little of our time ......
as much as we are welcoming Syawal , let's not forget that Ramadhan is bidding us farewell soon.
We are not sure if we'll ever meet Ramadhan again.........
There's a few things that happend during Ramadhan ........ but i managed to do what i shld. Alhamdulillah.
Syawal tis year, will not be the same like the previous years for my family , especially my parents ........ my mom in particular .
May Allah strengthen our Iman and Taqwa and lead us to the Right path. Ameen.
PS: I would like to take tis opportunity to seek forgiveness, if in any
event that i have hurt anyone intentionally or unintentionally in my writing or in words.
May Allah forgive us. ameen

Just an update from my buzzzy schedules...
Yesterday , was my 15th years wedding anniversary.
In a very unromantic situation , i or rather we (hubby n me) only realised it only around 11am , in the middle of Tanjong Katong carpark (we were there to look for carpet la) , when i started to tear the parking coupon.. hahaha
And then .... the day was just normal ........... how interesting ,eh .
On the other hand , i have to throw away the whole batch of macaroons that i made the other day, cos, it didnt turn out well . I figured , i didnt whisked the egg white stiffed enuf and therefore, the macaroons turned out to be still-very-wet even after baking ...... duuuhhh @!!
Im running late in the spring cleaning marathon.
My house condition is still an eye-sore.
Anyhoowww , ive completed folding all the laundry yesterday , which has been sitting on my reading corner sofa , since last week. Yayyy me !
Today , my hook or by crook , i have to do vacuumming , mopping and start decorating the house bit by bit .
Ifffff im hardworking enuf , i might want to iron the baju raya (clothing for Eid) .
But, first , i have to lift my fat butt outta here !

Kampung Siglap Mosque is the mosque for our taraweeh this year , and its been our nightly trip , since it's the school holidays.
Last nite, as usual, my family and i were there, and after the isyak prayer, the Imam announced to the jemaah, that the mosque is having a special invited Qari fm Mesir who will be reciting a certain versus of the Quran ( i couldnt remember which verse) , before we start our taraweeh.
All the jemaah were silent. I got myself a piece of tissue paper , cos, i know im gonna teared. Teared i did. It was sooo beautifully recited and just pierced thru my heart. I couldnt help it.
I knew most of the ladies jemaah cried too..not sure abt the men thou.
Alhamdulillah, when few days back the ladies' prayer hall was filled with less jemaah , i could now see , many are are coming back . Later, I saw a family brought pillows for their kids...probably preparing or staying on for Qiamullai .
I was at Geylang yesterday afnn, there's lots of things to see actually , but time was not on my side . I managed to get few stuff ...then, I went to the chicken rice stall and ordered two packets for the kids iftar...not so surprising thou, i saw what im sad to see and say it here..(some of u may know what i mean) .
May Allah guide us to the right path, insya allah. ameen.
