Alrite, this is wat's going to happen at my home tonite.
We , anak beranak , will be having photo shoot.
An editor/journalist/reporter or whoever she is fm the local newspaper, Berita Harian, called my hubby y'day to make this arrangement. What is this for ?
Well, she and her team are going to write an article abt FaithHub .
How it originates , thier missions and wat nots. Since my hubby is the Head of FaithHub, and since he is a convert ...they are very much interested to know more abt how he went tru all the "impossible" that beccome "possible" ........... :P
I really dunno wat to expect when they come later tonite...or shld i just concentrate on wat i shld wear for the shoot !? :)
**Edit**
The photographer came as scheduled (8pm). By then we were all ready and dressed up..errr proper. It was just a few minutes kinda thingy. He took few shots of us, few poses and positions , from there ,he'll pick either one or two to put in the the newspaper articles.
He's not too sure when the articles will be published, but i reckon from the Ms Editor who spoke to my hubby few days ago, she wanted to do it like immediate.
Likely , it will be published by this week if not the following week.
Hope they got all infos and details correct..........hmmmm

Im so done with these books. Very fascinatingly enriching , i must say.
An equally riveting stories abt the Princess of Saudi Arabia, named Sultana. Her families and clans from the Royalty status. Their abundance of wealth , their priviliges and an overly extravagant luxurious lifestyles . The women's plight,( usually the 2nd class citizens)...their agonies, plights and sorrows. Violators of freedom & oppressions of their women..of how their men are the roots of female grieves.
Contradictions in the teaching of the Quran and cultural interpretations of the Saudi men towards their women.
These books definitely give more than the in- sight of The Royalty lives. An eye-opener , than just a piece of veiled that cover their women's faces.

Im slightly late for this one, thou. As much as i enjoyed the author's Kite Runner , im just half way thru this one.

Alhamdullilah, we've come to almost a week of Ramadan.
Ive been having iftar at my mom's place since the very first day of Ramadan till y'day. Today, onwards , it will not be the case, ive to start cracking my brain of wat to prepare for iftar. Well, probably i'll be back there again tis Friday ..spilling over till the weekends..hehe
My kids really enjoyed iftar with their nenek & atuk , plus , since my sis,her hubby and her little newborn are staying there for the moment , it makes the whole iftar much more meriah.
It will never be a dull moment when your loved ones surround you, the experience is specially priceless.
Things at home has been slightly improved. I dare not say out loud as yet.
This early morning (before subh) , i offered a special prayer and made special doa/shalawat. I asked ALLAH for a tiny request . Later, i woke the kids up , they took their bath , prepared themselves , we kissed and hugged and off they went to school.
I sighed the sigh of relieved. ALLAH has granted my tiny request. Thank you ALLAH.

The month of Ramadhan will make it's entrance tommorrow and Muslims around the world will be observing thier fasting .
ALLAH has blessed us, to meet Ramadhan again this year. Alhamdullilah.
During this holy month, we are not only to refrain from food and drink, during dawn to dusk, but also we have to refrain from anger, backbiting... control our lust , have more self discipline and those yang sewaktu dengannye.
The time is given to us, to be closer to our Creator. Try to divert our heart from wordly affairs and perbanyakkan lah berzikir...the purpose to cleanse our soul.
Terawih prayers dont come everyday, take this opportunity to perform at least with a minimum of 8 rakaat...followed this with sunah Witir prayer. Add up our sunah Tahajjaud in the middle fo the nite, before u take your sahur and do your subh. There's hidden hikmah behind all these prayers..
Last 10 days of Ramadhan, while many will be busying in Geylang and preparing for Eid, some may forget that these nites are amongt the greatest. It's the nite of Power, many mosques will have their doors open for Qia mu lail. This nite is worth thousand times and equivalent to your lifetime prayers..it's the nite of Lailatul Qadr.
It is mentioned that during this nite, Jibril (a.s) will descend down and gathered all the supplications from the ummah. It will fall btwn the odd of 25th or 27th of Ramadhan..only Allah knows. The holy Quran was also send from Allah to our Prophet Mohammad( s.a.w.) on tis beautiful nite.
Dont forgot to give alms and ask Allah, for his mercy and may he grant us with the meeting of Lailatul Qadr. Amin.
Ramadhan Mubarak !

Alhamdullilah, no fuss from the kids this morning as they woke up and prepare for school, after a week long break.
I had a blasted time, last Friday, having Murtabak session at ZamZam Restaurant with some of my friends that i got to know from an online motherhood forum.
After murtabak, few of us managed to squeeze our time walking around Arab St. until, my hubby had to fetch me around 5pm.
We went home for a while to grab my daughter's stuff cos, she's sleeping over at my mom's that nite. After Maghrib prayer, my hubby and i rushed our way down to The Singapore Post for a talk by Shaykh Hisham Kabbani..a well-know Sufi scholars.
We arrived there slightly before 7.45pm and the auditorium was already filled. I bummped into 2 friends and fortunately we got to sit together and with a good view of The Shaykh. Moment the Shaykh entered the auditorium , i cud feel some sort of positive energy in me....or probably just that kinda feeling im not abled to explain.
The topic on that nite was "Save The Earth - Nature's Plea To Mankind" .
The talk wasnt exactly the topic per se, but the Shaykh spoke more abt ourselves...our own nature...our soul ! our kidney is nature...our heart is nature.
He mentioned how every creations do Tasbih to Allah, only we are not given the ability to hear. The mountains, the trees, the leaves even an ant..so if we killed an ant, the Tasbih will stop.
We have to look upon these matters : our speech, our sight, our movement .
Dun get involved in backbiting. If we have nothing to say, just be quite, cos Silence is Golden.
At the end of the talk, he touched a bit abt Ramadhan.
first 10 days asked Allah for Mercy
2nd 10 days asked Allah for Forgiveness
Last 10 days asked Allah for freedom from Hellfire.
This is not my first to attend the Shyakh public talk, but as expected, he delivered it with much impact.
Grab the opportunity of this Holy month by making lots for dua'a , do lots of zikir and read the Holy Quran (if possible). May Allah except our 'amal and ibadah .We wont know if this is going to be our last Ramadhan.
