School break is here ....again !
Before i go insane , i better have some backup plans...hehhee

My son is going for his school camping trip next Monday till Wednesday.
(one down...hehehe)

While her brother is away, and not to make her all alone at home, ive signed up my daughter for a "Young Caliph Camp" at the nearby mosque.
It's on Tuesday from 9am - 5pm & Wednesday from 9am - 3pm.

So, while both kids are away with their activities...mummy got her GSS to meddle with..hahaha

I want to make sure the kids , spent their holidays fruitfully....hence, i also signed them up
for "I Love Sholat" courses for 3 days...9am - 11am.
This is on 4th June - 6th June.

The much awaited KL trip starts on the 15th June till probably 20th June.

Cant wait !!

Just a quickie............

I was reading Berita Minggu , abt an article on Global Warming.

Everyone and the world are talking abt it.
It's a HOT topic .
It seems like natural disasters are frequent sights too.
Not to mention wars , amongst fellow humans.

Back to Global Warming.........

Are you worried ??

Scary stuff ...but i dun tink there's much we could do to fix the problems.
However, there's still time for us to turn from our sins and seek repentance from HIM.

Personally,i feel...........

Global Warming is Global Warning !!

My home and the school is just inches away , i could jolly well see my kids walking to and fro from my 3rd storey windows, but after an unpleasant incident that my daughter encountered tis afternoon..i will not let her walk home on her own....NEVER AGAIN !!

I will send and fetch my kids.....especially my 8yo daughter.

I was traumatised myself when she related the incident to me.
I sensed her fear. I could feel her pounding heart.

I Thank ALLAH for protecting my child from any harms.

BEWARE : These perverts & psychos are like everywhere, looking for vulnerable preys.

Yesterday, seemed to be one of my most L/A/Z/I/E/S/T day !

The weather was all cool and rainy.

All i did the whole morning was merely N/O/T/H/I/N/G !

I thot of getting a take-away chicken rice fm the nearby mall , so that my kids could have that for thier lunch...but im too lazy to move my heavy butt.

I had to drag my feet...whipping some simple dhal gravy , cooked rice.....and fried pappadams.

Too lazy to do anything else, lazed on the couch, switch on the telly, only to realise i had dozed off for a good half an hour. I woke up staring at the ceiling, looking at the fan ...

I thot of cleaning the house, but i did that oredi on Monday, where
I mopped the floor till i somehow twisted my wrist. Ouch !
I did cleaned the kids' room & get rid of some clutters too.

I didnt take my bathe till almost 11.30am.

By 12noon, im all freshened up...but still I have to slap & "wake up" fm my laziness zone.
Kids coming home soon, ive to be an "alert" mom or at least act like one..hahha

Later today,
after kids are back fm skool, im gonna send them to my mom's place, cos, im having a
High Tea sessions with two of my cool.!

I need to break away fm my domesticated lifestyle once awhile ,you know ! ;)

after our class, the hubby and me, met up w my sis and my bro-in law at KTM railway station for dinner.

My kids & mom tagged along in her car. The crowds that nite, were merely families.
We ate & left the place nearly 10pm, as we were supposed to fetched my dad , who was helping out with the cooking at Habib Noh mosque.

The mosque was having Maulid, hence the human traffic.
We managed to get a spot to park our cars.
Dad met us up for a bit and then went back to the cooking area again.

While waiting, we bumped into few friends, who attended the occasions.
We walked around ... saw a small stall selling books and I ended buying audio cd(s) frm a guy ,who sells them just next to the book stall.
It's a steal , so i bought a few more cd(s) as gifts to friends.

It's almost 10.30pm and dad still not done, me and hubby decided to climb up & visit the makam. A number of ppl were there, doing silent prayers ...we offered ours and came down.
Then, my kids decided to visit the mom and I brought them up, they said their silent prayers and we went down.

I saw some scenes , during the makam visit which i shall not comment. To each his own.

Dad, was done slightly after 11.00pm.....he brought back 2 packets of piping hot briyani rice. We headed to mom's place...ate the briyani and left nearly 12.30am.

had simple lunch at mom in-law's place & left after a while.
We headed to Plaza Singapura, kids and hubby watched Spiderman 3, while the mommy went on retail theraphy .

We ended the day by having dinner at Secret Recipe and I went home with aching legs, but it's worth ,cos, i got a new bag & new pair of shoes....and some stuff from Daiso too. ! :)

Exams are finally OVER !

Well, not so OVER yet actually...........the RESULT !

Good or not so good the results, there's still time & room for improvements.

My son said to me the other day.....

"Mom ,i tried my best..paper quite tough, but watever it is im still your son rite? "

** roll eyes ** ((HUGS))

Last nite, as I was sitting on the couch reading my magazines , i took glances at my kids playing.

They were giggling and laughing away..(obviously they were in good mood w each other)

They looked all innocent and angelic.

I began to tell myself how my life has changed so much upon their presence.
Motherhood has taught me so many things, which i never thot of.
I look more closely at this world, its dangers, its beauties, its blessings.
I look more closely at my own behavior .

What makes a good mother anyway?

Is it patience? Compassion? Broad hips? Sagging breasts ?
The ability to nurse a baby, cook dinner, and sew a button on a shirt, all at the same time?
Or is it heart? Is it the ache you feel when you watch your son or daughter disappear down the street, walking to school alone for the very first time?
The jolt that takes you from sleep to dread, from bed to crib at 2 a.m. to put your hand on the back of a sleeping baby?
The need to flee from wherever you are and hug your child when you hear news of a school shooting, a fire, a car accident, a baby dying?

So this is for all the mothers.......

Who sat down with their children and explained all about making babies...(i just did that weeks ago sitting w my son teaching Science topics on reproduction of animals/man..and my kids ended gigling cheeky most of times.)

This is for all the mothers who taught their children to tie their shoelaces before they started school. And for all the mothers who opted for Velcro instead.

For all the mothers who bite their lips, sometimes until they bleed, when their 14-year-olds dye their hair green.

This is for all the mothers who shows up at work with spit-up in their hair and milk stains on their blouses and diapers in their purse.

This is for all the mothers who sent their son to school with stomachaches, assuring them they'd be just FINE once they got there, only to get calls from the school nurse an hour later asking them to please pick them up...right away ..(guilty me..blush)

This is for young mothers stumbling through diaper changes and sleep deprivation.
And mature mothers learning to let go.
For working mothers and stay-at-home mothers. Single mothers and married mothers. Mothers with money, mothers without. This is for you all. So hang in there.

Mothers you are the strength & pillars.
Mothers your're just GREAT !

Life has been a roller coaster ride the past few days.

I felt suffocated and choked.

I wish i could pour out everything.

But that is not possible.

I try to look life at different angle,

But still it burn me out.

I try to look on the bright side,

I failed to see the rays.

Then, i realised im not alone.

Someone out there, is facing the challenges too (could be worst).

Thou, in different ways of struggling.

I try not to dwell over the negatives,

And im still trying..............................

On the sunny side up, my hubby brought up his new plans.

Seems lucrative and niche.

It wont happend so fast but he's working on it.

Well, we all plan things, HE decides.

Clutter ?

It is amazing how we can accumulate things that we think we need, yet, we never use!

time for ;

This shows how much unnessary things has been compiled in our lives !
